DONATE GENERAL GUIDELINES
  • Ensure all donated item are in good condition—no rips, stains, broken parts or missing pieces. Electronics and appliances must be in working condition, unless otherwise stated by individual charitable organization.
  • For donated items, fair market value is assigned by donor. Charitable organization will provide a form to be filled out and filed by donor for an itemized tax deduction.
  • Federal law prohibits the donation of mattresses or box springs, stuffed animals, cribs or car seats. Hazardous materials and firearms are also prohibited.
